Foliage!

What a great day, 68 degrees and sunny, maybe the last good day of Autumn. Went for a nice Fall Classic bike ride from Lexington to Concord, Carlisle, Acton, and back by way of Walden Pond. Some great color on the trees; and across the street from me,it seems the Halloween Horror House is back in business.

Happy 90th, Mom!

Went down to Deep River on Sunday, it was my Mom's 90th Birthday! My sister Deb got her a special Prince Regent-style layer cake from a German Bakery.

Shark Weak

Cape Cod candy makers form new anti-shark Consortium. Non-profit group will collect all unsold candy, confections, salt-water taffy, sweets, etc. It will then be mixed together with artificial Seal flavoring, and dumped into the water after every shark sighting. Spokeswoman Ribena Atkinson says, "With any luck, we'll get them hooked on the stuff, and then watch as it rots their teeth out."
